It would allow people to share the blessings that they had received, and express their gratitude. You could then have a composite report show up. It might read something like “234 people blessed by Good Samaritans this week.” This would in turn inspire others to share their blessings with the congregation.

There is a lot of joy in the Christian life. Sometimes we fail to perceive that, given how many things people gripe about. By counting the blessings of the congregation, we might change that prevailing attitude that says things are negative. Let’s turn it into a positive attitude. God is Good!
