What’s New

MinTech is two years old! It is hard to believe that it has been that long since this weB LOG or BLOG got started. There have been lots of great topics discussed, and more than a few keen insights uncovered. Hopefully, you’ve found the answers to some of the issues that have confounded you. Or maybe it has just helped to discover that somebody else in the world is faced with the same perplexity. Technology should never supplant Ministry; that would be like having the tail wag the dog. But Ministry can no longer ignore Technology. Given the scale at which today’s Churches operate, there has to be a dependence on Technology to get the task done. (Gone are the days when we had an army of monks who could do all of the paperwork using archaic, manual methods!) I believe that the Technology actually makes it easier to reach more people, in more places, with more of the Gospel than ever before in History! When the two are working in harmony, the ministry of the Church expands by leaps and bounds. When the two are at odds with each other, the ministry becomes dull and ineffective. May you find a way to be more effective in the place where God has called you to serve. And when you do, be sure to come back here and share your comments, so that others can gain from your insights.
