Ethical Standards

End users are invited to comment on the various postings on the site. Any comments made become the property of Darby Consulting, and are reviewed to ensure that they meet the following ethical standards:

Profanity
Profanity will not be tolerated in submitted comments and/or postings. Darby Consulting reserves the right to edit or remove such comments and/or postings at its sole discretion. If you want to be profane, you have the freedom to start your own blog. Here, you are required to use decent language.

Commercials
The intent of the MinTech Blog is to share knowledge about technical ministry. All costs are borne by the author (Bradley Roberts) and no advertising is allowed. If you submit a comment or post in which you have placed an advertisement for goods or services, then you can expect that submission to be rejected. There are plenty of other places where you can advertise. The intention here is to remain objective and advertising has a tendency to lead to a bias in what is presented. The author addresses issues based on his experience, but always seeks to present a balanced viewpoint.

SPAM
SPAM is also not tolerated here. EMail addresses, if given, are obfuscated to prevent the collection of end user electronic mail addresses by web spiders. MinTech will not knowingly sell or provide your eMail address to any third party for commercial purposes. And MinTech will not generate SPAM. Any future newsletters will be published on an opt-in basis, and end users are free to opt out of any subscription services.

Relevancy
The general expectation is that all comments and/or postings are relevant to the purposes of technical ministry. Any submissions which depart from that purpose will be removed at the sole discretion of the author. If you have a concern about the relevancy of a particular posting and/or comment, then please address your concern to the Blogmaster. All decisions on relevancy are final.
