MinTech has adopted this privacy policy in order to ensure users of
our commitment and dedication to their privacy. The following privacy guidelines and policies apply to the
website "www.MinTech.org" (Site). MinTech respects your right to privacy. We invite you to visit our
site to find information and resources that are of interest to people in technical ministry.
In the course of doing so, you will browse the site. We will endeavor to respect your privacy at all times
while you do so.
Registration
Registration is not required to gain access to the Site. However, you will want to register in order
to take full advantage of the site. By registering, you gain the ability to not only read but also
submit comments for others to read. Registration requires a valid eMail address, which then
becomes your user id. When you register, you also agree to follow the standards and guidelines for users of
the site.
Ethical Standards
All users are expected to follow the Site's Ethical Standards of Conduct. These standards are guidelines for
ensuring that the information on the Site is relevant and interesting to people who work in the Church.
During registration you will have the opportunity to review these standards and agree to them. If you do
not agree, then you may still use the site, but you will be restricted to a read only role. By agreeing
to these standards, we hope to avoid the following issues with the Site:
If you violate these standards, then your role will be restricted by the Blogmaster. This policy is
not intended to suppress freedom of expression, but rather to follow community standards for decency
in that expression. If you feel that you have a concern about these Ethical Standards, then we invite
you to eMail the Blogmaster to discuss that concern. These standards are periodically reviewed by
the Administrator of the Site, and will be updated as appropriate and without notice. Again, the purpose is
to ensure that no one abuses the Site and the information contained herein is relevant and interesting.
Personal Information
Any time MinTech collects information that you voluntarily submit, it is the intent of
MinTech to inform you of why this information is being requested and how it is going to be used.
We may collect personal information from you when you complete an online form or request, including
electronic mail address, phone number, and other information. You can always choose not to provide us
with this information. Be mindful of the following policies at MinTech in this regard:
Children's usage of the Site
This Site is intended for adult use. Although
there is nothing here that should be harmful to a child, it is not intended
for children, and we ask that minors not submit any personal information to us.
Student's usage of the Site
This Site is a rich resource of information for people involved in ministry in the Church
who work with technology, both volunteer and staff. Students may find information here that would be useful in
their educational pursuits. Students are welcome to use that information - just be sure to cite the Source.

Permission is hereby granted to any student who wishes to cite the Site for educational purposes.
Nature of Data on the Internet
It is the intent of MinTech to guard any personal information
that you submit to us, and MinTech will continue to take steps to maintain
the security of this Site. However, the data we collect from you may be
distributed throughout MinTech and the open nature of the Internet is such
that data may flow over networks without security measures (e.g. wirelessly) and may be
accessed and used by people other than those for whom the data is intended.
Therefore, in submitting personal information to the Site, you assume
the risk of a third party obtaining that information.
